B-King engine difference from a Gen 2 engine?

The B-King does not have ram air like the Busa, I suspect this is where a bit of power is lost.

+1 on the engine lump being the same as a Busa though.

Great bike tho, who cares about a few hp, overall you wouldnt notice, I felt it was smoother and better fuelled than the Busa.

I dont know who started this faster than a Busa (Gen2) to 180kmh business, but I've yet to see any proof.

For the record (or maybe off it) our stock Gen 1 Busa spanked it in ...er ..closed road testing..from a standing start, including rider swaps.
Despite its wheelbase, the B-King is a very hard bike to launch when stock. 10kg of muffler high in the tail combined with the BTL lock up makes it so.

What a truly great motorcycle it is though. Smitten
