Sounds like air in the clutch system!
The OEM clutch system is not that flash. There's plenty of threads on this around, but basically the slave cylinder seals .... don't seem to very well. Oil gets dirty right back up to master cylinder. If you have dirty oil, a flush and bleed may fix the problem? At only 27k you wouldn't expect the carriers for the plates to have grooves in them, (this can also cause sticking plates). Pull the sprocket cover off and check if the outer seal (more like a dust cover) on the slave cylinder is still there?
