Anyone else had a stone in their caliper?

Finally got out today.
Black Spur and Reefton.

Noticed a sort of squeak/rattle.
At first thought it was fairing vibration.
Lasted about an hr.
Drove me mad.
Then it got really bad and turned into a grinding sound.
So loud and bad that I just had to stop.
I was convinced the front wheel bearing was going.
Thought well I will just try to roll back a few metres with the f brake dragging a little.
Took off again gone.
No noise whatsoever all the way home (Another 40 mins)

I am thinking stone or something in f brake caliper...weirdest thing...
