That is close to my old stomping ground. Not much in Gin Gin itself but 40-50 min gets you to Agnes Water and 1770. Link back from Agnes to Bundaberg can be interesting as well. A bit of open windy on that leg.
Good that the dates are just out of the school holidays except for the deep south Mexicans (Tassie). I will have to check the calendar now!
