Yeah, small amounts of kero on the rims does the job. As well as the chain - use an old toothbrush to put it on and a chux to wipe it off.
Rinse dirt and dust off the paintwork with warm water and a soft cloth.
Chammi dry and then Mr Sheen all the paint work.
Use a good fine grade metal polish on chrome or stainless steel bits.
I recommend that you don't polish off the protective coating on alloy surfaces because once you do, you have to polish them with metal polish forever.
