We finally departed the top floor of the TCH thurs morning after a fair amount of fist waving at the doctors who kept telling us the MRI was what was required for a definative diagnosis but the machine wasn't available for another 3 days when we had been waiting since saturday already - sent mrs ruffy in with the tears and sure enough i was strapped in 2 hours later.
There are no nerves or tendons severed or crushed in the neck and shoulder which took the brunt of the armco but they are 'stretched' which will take a lot of physio to repair. I still have two pinhole fractures in the c6 and c7 vertebrae of the neck - still finding new bruises everyday but i'm starting to like purple and yellow together First physio appt this arvo of many.
Thanks to those who have offered parts without fanfare and those who continue to help behind the scenes as an accident affects people in many different ways.
Cheers Ruffys
