well there's the odd couple in town, I know of few occasions when i see two together in town and that's when me and the man are riding together.
I grew up country so I always do the country wave on rural roads, and much disgusted when not reciprocated. Much the same in town. There definitely isn't a lot of female riders, so when they pull up beside me on the whitey its quite a funny double take.
Long weekends off the roster are rare, but me and bf love nothing better than a good ride (big distances) For now we have to just appreciate a day trip to rocky (300+ km's each way) while I do some Karate gradings in between then blat home. But that trip is much more appreciated than none at all.
I enjoy being able to ride to work every shift anytime, and its just that a bloody nice ride (albeit shortish).
