I have NEVER said that stock were better than Ohlins except for the fact that the Ohlins failed on your trip and the stock ones on the other two bikes didn't.

Take it easy Ray. Using a one-off example to base an argument that after-market parts aren't good enough is hardly valid. Besides, I didn't hear Bruce say he didn't like the Ohlins and I didn't hear you say your stock brakes "failed".

Yes, Pan, I did buy some HEL brake lines for the 99 busa when it was 5 years old and due for line replacments.
They were cheaper than stock and in my opinion did improve the braking by eliminating fade and giving better feel
