K8 TRE

Any one fitted a TRE on a 08 yet
If so how is it going & do you know if its richening up the air fuel ratio on the lower gears?

I read about Ivans TRE and bought the 007 model that suits the busa 08, to see if there claims were true about better throttling in the lower gears. Very easy to install and gear indicator shows 5-N-5-5-5-5-5, But better performance in lower gears it aint. I reakon somewhere between map A and b, so I was dissapointed with the performance and should have taken Brocks advice, as he says it consistantly times slower in the q-mile than stock.
I was led to believe the TRE affected the timing rather than the fuel mixture.
When I get time, I`me gunna dismantle this TRE, to check the claims its just not resistors but chipped.(very skeptical) Am looking to modify it to allow gears 1 thru 5. Probably use zenner diode.
