Poor Bugga.
All the fellars have given some good advice and if you can get another set of glass from the states well I think I would be leaning that way but I spose it's going to come down to a few things that you need to way up.
1. Does your ins have a one claim clause in it that allows you to make a claim for minor damage ( mine does ).
2. If you don't want to use your ins what's your budget ??
3. Do you know a decent painter. They are around but but you will pay extra. Like the fellars say if you get someone to paint it and they fuckit because of poor prep work you can end up with crows feet through the paint or the paint looking like an orange peel if it's not done right.
I would have to agree with the fellars about ins though as we pay all this money for it so why not use it. The one thing that I would have to way up and do some homework on is the option of another set of glass from the states if the price is right ( I have never really looked at this avenu ). If you have say a $500.00 excess and you can get another set of glass for a grand well I know which way I would be going.
