Bummer! It only takes the slightest downwards slope and they will roll right off the stand! There is a well-documented sidestand mod on this site. I haven't done it but i'm paranoid about where I park.
You might consider buying new panels. Reality is they will be quite reasonably priced from the states including postage but insanely expensive through any Australian Suzuki dealer. And then you'll have spares for track-days haha.
I'd ditch the exhaust and consider some aftermarket slip-ons or now would be the perfect chance to get that full-system.

The K8 side/lower fairing is two separate parts. The white part and the silver part in your case.
