I love doing wheelies, 12.00 Oâ€clockerâ€s on the balance line are my favourites along with point and shoots, thatâ€s where you aim for a point while changing lanes and you basically skim the front wheel of the ground to where you want to be. But shit happens as it did with me recently and I looked like a complete f*%$#wit, something a passing motorist pointed out. Didnâ€t drop the bike but lost balance and came down like a bag of crap all over the road, not very impressive at all and the first time its happened in over 20 years of ridding. It really drove home that this sort of stuff is not for the open road so I now restrict my stunting to closed or empty roads (something I should have done from the start) as the last thing I want is for my fun to hurt someone else. I can recommend a video by Jerry Jones which is like the Wheelie Bible, check out his web site here http://www.learntowheelie.com/about.html Thereâ€s also plenty of stuff on the net from stunterâ€s all around the world, just Google Wheelies How To. Anyway, good luck and try and keep it safe and if anyone knows of a place where we can practice stunting (preferably in Vic) please drop me a line.
