Do you remember they used to stop your CC when you reached the limit.
Not any more......... Now they allow you to go over & charge you $35 for the privilage. Even if it's the addition of interest that puts it over.
I have specifically requested my bank to put a stop on my CC when or before it reaches the limit & they flatly refuse.
Their reason being,
"We don't want you to be embarrassed at the checkout".
I said I don't give a crap about being embarrassed, I don't want to be charged $35. & they said that it is up to me to keep a close track of how much "credit" I have & I must also keep track of the interest so that I allow enough credit for it to be charged without exceeding the limit.
I got charged when my card was fraudulently used and went over the limit - they reversed it, eventually, but it was many calls after they reversed the fraudulent transactions!
