1942 Harley WLA 750 Side Valve
Question is, will our busa's still be going at that age or will they have thrashed themselves to death
Here's a war story for you........ all true as well
My father ran a motorcycle sales & repair shop in Moonee Ponds up until the early 60's. During WW 2 he was given a contract from the US Army to assemble Indians & Harley's from crates. Just after the war had finished he had some wooden crates unopened out back which had been recently delivered by truck. When the crates were opened they contained brand new spare engines for the Army bikes that were classified as surplus to requirements & he ended up with all of them. <i>Edited by: rev 01 at: 30/11/06 12:10
