I can assure you guys that this story is true, otherwise I would not pass it on.
His wife is being in Warragul today, so if anyone wants to attend the funeral you are most welcome to attend and speak to Stephan:
Details: Thursday, 29th at 11.30am. The venue is Handley Funeral Services, Korumburra Rd Warragul.
Also his bike was at Ashe Kawasaki in Warragul. If anyone knows someone there, you can ring them and ask about this story, there should be someone there who can confirm it. It was towed away to be fixed at another person on the other forum's place after they posted this reply:
Hi everyone, our thoughts are with Stefan in this trying time and I am dissapointed on his behalf that the couple of band aid attempts we have tried to do, to get his bike on the road have been unsuccessful. Unfortunately for us to properly fix the problem we would need to split the motor which would be pricey by the time it was finished. We believe we have sourced an "05" GPX 250 motor with 9000 km on it that is listed at $1100 changeover with $100 to get it freighted here. If this motor can replace the one that is in it I am more than happy to wave the labour involved to get it back on the road. I wish to extend my sincere wishes to do what I can to make this awful situation in any way smoother.
I can understand why people are hesitant. In this crazy world, there are always scams out there to try and rip you off.
