Fuel Preferences
#17
BikerI find rather than the brand name, most crappy fuel comes from older, less frequently used servos. There's more chance of rust, scale, soil, moisture and a fair amount of water leaching into thier old underground steel tank's. I've seen the tank's dissintegrate when they are removed from the ground, and a truck load of sludge and rust particles sitting in the bottem.Try to pick the newer, busy servos that have regular delivery's. Unfortunatly, it's not alway's possible to pick and chose fuel brand's unless you ride in more built up area's. If you travel long distances on county roads and fuel up in outback town's, you just have to take what's available and hope for the best.
