Parking lights ?

A question on parking lights? I have a Australian compliance 1999 Busa and it has no park switch or park light globe fitted. The headlights come's on when the ignition is switched on and it has the usual dip ,high beam switch but no park position on the ignition. Are all the Busa's this way ? I'm curious because both my other bikes have park light positions on thier ignition switches.I never gave it a thought until a cop queried me when checking the lights.
