I also have an 05, was doing the same thing. Noticed it at the track when pinning 2nd. After that it was happening more and more often.
Have had the usual undercutting and selector fork replacements to fix it. Bike has about 30,000ks, but a lot of that was commuting. Scared the hell out of me at the track as it was happening mid corner.
Sounds like a real issue with the o5s huh,.
