I am in the engineering trades , and i have had a lot of welding experience , was doing structural welding on over head cranes , and my work was always x'rayed and crack tested. Just in food industry now doing s/s work ( tig ) With that , please be advised that the frame repair that has been done will not be as strong as the original , how strong? how long is a piece of string.
For on road , would be risky - on track where there are far higher stresses and speeds involved ... don't do it.
do you have family ?
whats your life worth ?? less than $1000 for a new frame ?? ( from wreckers)
Please take everyones warnings , as we dont need a new addition to the section " Gone - but never forgotten"
take care
