General riding in traffic

In Europe when you turn 60 or so you have do a refresher course/test on road rules,eyesight and be medically fit.Its just logic that your eyesight,flexibility and reactions are not what they used to be so it just makes sense to see if you are compitent enough to hold a driving permit.Maybe one day the auothorities here will see the light and common sense will prevail.

I hope that if it comes down to it i would hand my own licence in . But i would say its like when you have been drinking you think your ok to drive .

Lane splitting is just common sence i was on the Monash one morning when the trafic was stop start so i was splitting at a slow pace . I saw a bike comming up behind me at good pace so i pulled in to trafic to let him past so the idiot gave it to it must of been doing 80 got about 100m up the road did not see car with turn signal on to change lane and hit drivers door.
I pulled over to make sure he was ok he asked me to stay as witness i told him he was in the wrong but he could not understand why .
