Astro's story reminded me of a beauty that I witnessed when I was in the Air Force at Fairbairn in the ACT.
We regularly had the Governer General or PM come to visit when they were flying in or out.
The GG has a big old black Rolls with the usual flags and trim etc.
He also had a 4 bike escort on this occassion - 2 in front and 2 behind.
Halfway down the main drag from the front gate of the base to the main road, there is a RAAF fire station tucked in behind some hedges.
The entourage is heading out of the base towards Canberra and the lead escort bikes are hooting along at about 80k. As they approached the fire station a firetruck bursts out in front of them. They hit the anchors, the Rolls hits the anchors and the two rear enders rear ended the roller......
No one hurt except pride and scratches but really funny to see.
