Oh please, talk about exaggeration Mr RaZ... :P
I believe one was likely a slap dash weld / bog job, but the other just looked like it wasn't sanded back properly prior to painting (on a close look it has the red/silver colour scheme)
So that's not exactly most panels.
Also considering the thud i heard as it slammed on the left side then spun, twisting on the fairing, out facing back into the road, then sliding that distance into the kerb, then ricocheting back out into the lane and sliding for a while more. The scratches in the road went for a fair distance. Honestly, i'm not suprised the left fairings have that amount of damage. Also do remember with yours, that it ended on the dirt. Mine never saw anything 'soft'.
