Busgo will be an excellent administrator. You know that as well as anyone. If he feels it necessary to dispense with the diplomatic words and speak plainly, I applaud that. (You're not exactly known for your diplomacy yourself). If Busgo turns out to be a tough, uncompromising admin who takes appropriate and swift action without fear or favour... I applaud that too. (... speaking of which, I do believe you've been loosely described as tough and uncompromising yourself.)
Glenn, when we start paying membership fees, I'm sure we'll get a vote. Until then, its not a democracy. Those who do all the work, get to make the rules and decide on who runs the place. Actually, we all do have a vote. We can vote with our feet. In the end, if the changes offend someone, they can close their account. (Personally I'm hoping that's exactly what happens in some cases). There are other boards - but many of them don't give members voting rights either... and many of them have strict policy guidelines. I can see some people leaving this board and going elsewhere to rubbish us. I'm not worried about that. Those people will soon make themselves a nuisance on other boards too... so their bad opinion about this board will actually have the reverse effect.
Before either of you start calling foul, I'm not picking on you and this is not a personal attack. I've only met you once Glenn so we've really not interacted much, but I have a lot of respect for you dad. He's a good bloke and an awesome rider. I'm just stating my opinion here. Besides, people don't always just become targets, they often make themselves targets.
