Desirable bikes will always hold their value. Look at the Yamaha 1200 Vmax. The first came out in I think in 1985 http://www.vmaxoutlaw.com/main.html and they still pull $8500 here http://www.bikepoint.com.au/DesktopDefau...ID=2841150&TabID=3424&Alias=Bikepointau

and the 2008 Vmax will be out next year with 210 hp.

The GEN 1 Busa is and will always be a desirable bike so I cannot see the price of the GEN 1 dropping ever dropping to much more than than what they have now.
