has the new k8 killed us

ok guys! with the new k8 out, going through oz like a hot curry dinner. will this affect the value of our bikes in a way that buyers or dealers will want to give us peanuts for anything under the k8 model e.g old look, smaller engine, bla bla bla.
And last of all will most of the parts from the k8 fit our bikes so we can up grade just a little because all i want for my bike is the new dash. that is farking sexy shit

i reakon, that any bike upto the 2007, other than the 99 will suffer value wise in the long run :)
