Until a few months ago there was little different with the various year Hayabusa's, which in turn has given very good resale across the board.
Unfortunately for the same reasons they have been disadvantaged with the lower resale now that the Gen 2 has been released.

Look at a 2000 GSXR1000 and what percentage of initial purchase price the sellers are getting, the Gen 1 Busa's has levelled to similar percentages.

They may recover after the hype but not counting on it.
