Rudds in Howard out.

Ah dear, politics even manage to probe their greasy thumb into the 'Busa website. So, I shall give my opinionated 2 bobs worth.

There's know doubt that Howard was in too long. He made some cocky decisions that ultimately brought about his demise, thus proving, the beauty of democracy.

In an ideal world it would be great to have a "leader" that was in for a term longer than 3 years. This would encourage them to make decisions & choices that were relevant to our children, not just concerned with re-election in a short term. Thus, short term economics would not be the driving force behind the choices they made. Unfortunately, nearly all people are, well, greedy, hence this would end up in what we know as a dictatorship.

Interest rates are not controlled by the Australian government but, by the Reserve/World banks.

As for being concerned with the unions running this fine continent of ours under a labor government, well shouldn't we be looking at diverting ourselves from relying solely on building stuff and being a quarry for the world? It seems to me that there is a few unions that have done a damn good job of running this country under the Coward government. With one union group, (& arguably the most powerful) coming under the umbrella of "Mining Forestry & Energy" it seems that we have opened the doors for a few to have a lot of power. It also seems that we have bugger all chance of returning ourselves to the world leader in renewable energy r & d and manufacture. Energy doesn't, shouldn't & can no longer be derived solely upon mining or forestry.

I voted Green, if for nothing else but, to keep the bastards honest & challenge their thinking.

Let's hope Dudd brings in autobahn speed limits for our freeways so that I don't get busted again for doing a safe 120km/h in the middle of the night on the Eastern Freeway, (on my Yamaha Tenere chooky just to rub salt into the wounds).

Anyone got a step ladder so I can get down from my high horse?

One last thing, prefer the front end of the Gen 1 Busa, prefer the gorgeous (Vespa-ish aka European), arse on the K8, would love to get a load of that crazy front end lift on the Gen 2 that everyone's "complaining" about. But, at the end of the day, you cant beat the (Copper) original, eh Volvi.
