Its also simple economics. Oz having such a limited market, what comes in is often without competition to bring the prices down. But now the internet have given them a run for their money as anyone can buy like on ebay and import. and as long as its under $500 or some say $1000 they dont get hassled by GST or duty. Tho cans I believe do attract duty, not sure if anyone got hit by them.
