I got the bike back this afternoon.
It appears to be running quite well in the brief time I have had to test.
I notice a little oil on the pipe headers and hope that this is just a bit of spill and not a leak from the tappet cover area. They fitted a new gasket after checking the shims.
The shims all were still within factory spec after 112,000 klms. No adjustment necessary, yet again.
The new clutch plates make it much lighter to use and the take up is noticably quicker.
I cleaned and flushed the fuel tank myself before taking the bike in but they removed, cleaned and refitted all the injectors and checked the timing position sensor.
They also drained and refilled the coolant. I think it may be a little low, so will top it up after a good ride if necessary.
Overall I am impressed by the improved response and the lightness of the controls.
Must keep on eye on that oil around the header pipes. That is my only concern.
All up cost was a bit under $800.
