Wave rotors
#1
I'd like to know people's opinions about brake rotors...

I feel my brakes work really well at high speed and at low speed. They are stock OEM with braided lines. I find that on track days after 4x20min sessions they get quite sponge-like and the lever will come all the way to the bar.

I have heard that wave rotors allow the heat to escape and hence brake fluid doesn't heat up as much, therefore brakes do not sag after prolonged use.

I've heard cast iron is great, but from what I understand they are not necessarily going to last longer on track days just because they grip better.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
