I am new here. I am sending greetings to all of you owners of hayabusa.
I am just wondering about one thing.

I do not want to do that but just wondering about this thing how it can be removed....
If someone knows it please let me know.

Here you go...

This one is okay but I think the SMART TRE is better (costs a little more). Just needs to be plugged in. Even I could do it! Very Happy

You need to "trick" the bikes computer into thinking that the transmission is not in top gear. This is usually done with various aftermarket devices like a TRE which presents a 5th gear electrical signal to the compuer when the transmission is really in 6th gear.

go for the smart TRE as mentioned above. Better still go for the gear indicator with the TRE made by speedohealer.com my pics of it in mod section, I think.

Thx. to all.
Another question
My friend just bought power commander III USB and right now buying some Ignition modul for that. Do you think that the ignition modul can do this also or not?
I red some article about this where one man described that it can be removed by easy modification of ECU. So he probably thought this TRE?

Or for 0.02c you put in a 6.8K ohm resistor into the pink wire on the gear position loom. A lot cheaper, although not plug and play. Local electronics store can supply one I hope.
