Unfortunately 4th gear pulls to redline (as sugested in the veypor manual) tend to be a little antisocial on the street, otherwise I would have been diddling with th PC111 already. I may give it a partial workout at WSID though.
$899 is bloody good value but you still gotta get it freigtedand your block back to them to release your $700. Maybe an 08 starter will work, see I have found good reason for breaking them up already.

I reckon if we can make the freight charge reasonable then we have a winner.

What if the core cost is less than our freight to send our block. If not see freight would be painful if the bike was off the road for x months.Dad has a fair bit to do with freight perhaps if a few heads were put together a viable solution could be found. The veypors good for launch practice.trimming fuel really has to be done on the track.

I think they hold $700 in bond money until they get your block, send it surface if need be when your ready. Wonder if the special is over already.

I have a block suitable for boring lining is coming off but the alloy behind is perfect ,could work something out and save on downtime.
you can get bores nikisil coated here in oz.Why dont we just buy the bits and get the machining done here. All thats left is a good head man and a good mechanic.
hey Glen why dont you get your old man to give James a call? he's working out of Dynoverks anymore due to racing commitments but he did have the 1662 kit fitted to his for a while and I think most of it was done by him and Dean in house. Just a thaught cause i'd be definatley be up for setting up a nitrous 1397....

Oz work is too expensive and so is courier from the states. I still think that surface is the way to go, just need some prices and and if MPS have several blocks available for transit and if they are prepared to wait a while to get their return.
