I normally ride without undies to save weight, so I'll give it a miss this week!

Well pull off 9.874 on a slippery track, spent most of the night on the back wheel (smashed the Red bikes all night long )
Not a bad turn out for 10 degs, around 16 bikes we only got 4 runs in as per normal. Chriss & Guido are off to the local shinko dealer before bike night next week

9.874 is slow! I seem to remember that I did a 9.845 two weeks ago. Were sold on the sinko, with a sticky tyre and stronger motor I intend to unleash the mighty power of the red busa (without uncontrollable wheel spin) and I hope to improve on that.

Well done simmo. So is the front wheel still round from all those wheelies? How was the mph in the cold air?My shinko goes on today.

Get the Shinko 003 ultra soft for absolute grip Glenn, if next week is like last night, you'll lose traction in every gear without the Shinko.

Fitted today.Shit i,m running out of excuses to be slow.If the stock wheels (front and back) slow me down with a shinko on a cold night I,ll be completely exposed as a wannabe.I better do some homework with the veypor.

I also fitted a shinko today It was FREE

Excellent time Simmo. Something for us sandgropers to chase next year. We shut down now till September, but Quit is spending $1.6m on a new launch pad so, maybe it will take a while for it to get up to scratch, orrrrr it might just be the ducks nuts straight away in which case my slightly shop soiled copper silver will bust into the 9.8s and beyond!

We both ended up going to that tyre fitter near Campbelltown that you went to Rob, I think his name is Craig, anyway he said that that the Shinko Stealth and ultrasoft are the same according to info told to him by the shinko people. At any rate, he only had the Stealth so we both ended up getting that fitted.
Check out how close the rear wheel rim is to the ground. "par excellence" |
