It's that far away. Fark!

hmmmm.....

Anybody got a rough idea what it would cost to air freight a Busa?

By the time I rode there from here on a Sunday it would be time to turn around and head home.

Have to give it a bit more thought.

(Thinking) <- don't believe everything you read.

How come the harder i think the less thoughts i have? Pi_freak

I give up.
At least know I know where, when and that others will probably be there. Getting there can be one of those some day things.

I'm ~1 1/2 hours from Heathcote or just on 2 from Calder , Haven't been to calder for years, the lines ,oil downs, low number of runs etc put me off, not worth the travel time

I dont blame you!
If i lived that far id be thinking twice as well.
10 minutes away is nothing so for me,its worth it.
An if i break something ( like i have in the charger)
Towing isnt much.
Damn those stock axels to hell.

I used 28 spline spider gears found in some v8 fords borg/warner diffs and early ford 9" axles (had to modify the bearings) in my old Charger, worked well till i started breaking pinions and 4 speed input shafts.then it was 9" difs and heavier gearboxes, bigger clutches $$$$$$$$$ never ending ..

1/2 an hour the Prom side of Phillip Island.

I'll get there one day but I might wait a while. Not just a whim kinda thing from this distance.

Rumor has it that they are thinking of transfering Tooradin airport into a Friday night street drag setup to get the hoons off the road. (that includes me) So i'll definately go to that and show the wanker tin tops drivers what speed and acceleration is all about.

Geoff

PS What does Tooradin spell backwards? :2funny: Primary school kid pointed it out to me. (they're clever, them primary school kids)

Some meets at Heathcote on a sat nite go a little late considering its Kangaroo territory for much of my trip home , so i'll stay at the rooms at the rear of the pub in Heathcote, kick back with a few beers sometimes a meal with others on there way back to Melb . easy trip home in the morn.
