Well the pups have settled in and completed their first week at home by uprooting half our plants and ripping the leaves off the rest.
But they are cute when they are asleep.
Here they are.

They are fast learners and can already take a lead, stop, sit, fetch, eat, sleep and shit.

I introduced them over the Easter weekend in the Easter greetings thread.
They're mum was a stumpy tailed cattle dog and dad was a Daschsund.(on Red Bull obviously)
14 in the litter of which 10 survived and the mum didn't make it either. (No surprise there)
We got these two from the animal carers at 10 weeks after the pound raised them to about 6 weeks.

Ok, I can't resist putting up another coupla photos of the little buggars.
I slept through normal breakfast time and they decided to eat their bed instead.

nice pups Busgo.
Yeah I can relate to all that with our new one a few months back.
He's calmed down now and doesn't make half as much mess as the rest of my family! (See other post)

Yes Button has settled down although if she doesn't go for a walk in the morning we come home to a eaten couch. Still taking washing of the line (Tony reckons she's trying to help but I dunno) but stopped chewing everything insite now. Just has a thing for getting stuff out of the rubbish and taking it to her "shop". When anything goes missing we look at her first.

Man I love puppies! I hadn't had a pup in 11 years until I got one at Christmas. She is nuts, but she makes me laugh! She spotted a helicopter for the first time on Anzac day (we are under the flight path for the War Memorial). She was facinated and terrified and facinated all at once. She liked that I laughed so much i had to sit down, because then she could jump all over me and I was laughing too hard to push her off.

Pups are now 6 months old and they had their first day socialising with a stack of other dogs at the beach today.

They have grown a tad.
