How to resize your pics
#1
PLEASE resize your pics b4 uploading.
That way they will last forever and never have to be trimmed or deleted.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downl...rtoys.mspx
then just right click and pic to resize.
Couldn't be easier.
Note: Requires Xp and does not work frr animated gifs.

So DJ, does this mean that we no longer have to put pics on photo bucket to load them?
Cheers,

I posted some pics of my car yesterday and I just tried to re-size them, it didn't appear to do anything. I right clicked on the pic and selected resize picture, but nothing happened!

Dj... in one of the test versions, I seem to remember being able to imbed an image straight from my local drive without using Photobucket. Was I delusional (always a distinct possibility) ? Is this facility available or can we only use attachments ?

Astro - you can - but only you will be able to see the pic - so rather pointless.

I would say resize to small.

I would like DJ to allow images to 640 wide (industry standard) not the current 620, but maybe 640 is throwing his precious thin skins... Which if he didn't keep pushing, and people didn't use, we could throw out and all have bigger pics....

Anyway, if you right click, select "Resize Pictures", select small, it will create a new copy of the photo in the same folder. If you want to resize your original, then right click, select "Resize Pictures", select "Advanced", and put a tick in "Resize the original pictures (don't create copies)".

If you want to resize 20 pictures, select all 20, right click, and resize all of them in one go.

Industry Standard sounds like a good idea. Noticed there are more Thin Skins then Wide Skins.
I have switched to a Wide Skin if thats the only reason.
Good little program.
