Charity raffle service at Balls report
#1
Well after having the bike back for a week after winning the charity raffle prize of a service at Balls, I feel the least I can do in gratitude is to provide a report and to thank once again all concerned. Thanks a lot guys and to Kym of course.

Met Ron, what a character, nail polish and all, but a great guy and the second best thing to come out of Japan after the busa, Rick Harga, who works there with him.

Ron provided the full service, with the twin tip spark plugs, Penzoil and filter. Whilst I added some additional goodies to be done at the same time. Changed the chain to DID gold and sprockets to 42 rear and standard front. BTL mod. GPS mod. Pirelli Corsa front tyre.

Wow, I don’t want to sensationalise but after owning my bike for 2 years, I can honestly say, it’s never run this good. Not even new. Sure the 42 sprocket would have helped and the mods. But I was very impressed, no more ‘bucking bronco’, and smooth power torque. Also the new front tyre was incredible for handling. Always hated the 207 front, but this Pirelli feels great. The bike is a different bike to what it was before, though always a great bike, but now an incredible bike. So my sincere thanks to Ron and Rick for a great job. Aint going anywhere else, you are the Busa guys. I understand that Ron has experimented extensively on HIS Busa rocketship, and thereby finding the right formula as to what works well and what doesn’t. I know, I rode it.

So guys, I now have a ‘new’ 99 copper Busa with 34.000 on the clock and it aint for sale.

Ron’s site and details can be found at www.ballshpt.com.au

Have also heard great reports about Ron's work ........... and also commend his generosity to all appeals.
What I find a little strange for you Volvi is that for some one who has condemned others for "flogging a business" in their posts previously on this board, I find your post highly hypocritical.
It appears to me that anything is Ok on "your" board as long as you either approve or have something to personally gain from it. Nothing personal at all Volvi, just an observation that I'm sure is noticed by others as well. Great to hear your bike is running fine and better than ever, (which is to be expected noting that you had never had either the BTL or GPS mod done before) hope that you enjoy it, but would be good to see you also get a sense of fair play in your future posts and not be so closed and biased in your future postings.
I'm sure all club members would gain much more from postings that are not biased or affected by either your personal opinions or conflicts who appear to have.
PS Saw you at the Toy Run but sadly didn't get a chance to speak with you

I wont allow myself to be lured into an argument over the comments made in your post. Readers can judge for themselves and arrive at their own conclusions.

However, which has no bearing on your post, I equally welcome a report and a note of thanks by other recipients of those kindly offered and received raffle prizes, as was the intention of my post.
