I would like to thank Richard for a great weekend in Jindabyne. My ISP went belly up so I have been off the air until now. I ended up on the Monday with severe flu that saw me inbed bed for the following 2.5 weeks with viral pneumonitis. Nothing to do with the ride.

On my last two days of leave I did the loop from Canberra to Cann River and back up the coast to Nowra, through Kangaroo Valley and back home (1200kms) over two days. With bike in solo trim I had an opportunity to really usethe bike the way it was intended.

Spent 2.5 weeks of your hols in bed? bleah! Are you sure that was flu, and not alcohol poisoning? Actually, I thought the consumption of alcohol was kept to a responsible level by all.

Bummer to hear about being laid up, but if it makes you feel any better, I lost heaps of riding time (and spent many days at home) as the healing "wound" from my op got infected...
