sob-sob-sob-sob-sob-sob-sob-sob..........
On Saturday did a run with a few friends at the Reefton and Black Spur in Victoria's Dandenongs. Excellent weather, wild riding and heaps of big new bikes, mine red/silver busa being one of them! Had a go on the new ZX-12R Ninja for a bit as well. .....BUT, about 15k's out of Heallesville I ended up down a steep enbankment/cliff !! Doing a right sweeper, corner dug sharper as going thru it... then hit the stringee bark lying across the road. Recovered, but lost a fair bit of ground while regaining a new line. Well, we all know what happens then. The black hard stuff ran out and the soft green/brown stuff greeted me and the bike. My Busa went 8m down the cliff rubbing a few trees on the way, and I tumbled along taking out a few white reflector posts!! Myself leading the way made an interesting site for my mates coming around the corner seeing me lying there.
Not even 10 minutes later we had a ripper of a guy use his electric winch on his 4WD and hoist it back up. Thanx who-ever you were. Fuel tank and mirrors squashed to oblivion, but still was able to ride it an hour home to Frankston. No charity ride for me next week Deemester, but am heading to Werribee on Saturday so I'll stop by and oogle over those non-bent Busa's at the Shell Servo.
Safe Riding, Peter
