Indiglo guage faces
#1
For anyone considering aftermarket guages, check out:

www.streetracerparts.com

The guages are electroluminesence and glow a green/blue like the old casio Indiglo watches. Installation seems pretty simple. Slip over the needles and on top of the original guages, and connect 2 wires per guage for power. That's it.

They come in two designs: Standard and Reverse. I'm getting the reverse, but you may have seen the standard ones on WRX's. Price is US$80 + $19 postage (2 weeks delivery).

I'll be ordering in about 3 weeks, so if anyone else wants some, we can order together and save on postage at the very least. If you're interested, I will need you to e-mail me with the type of guages you wan't, and your postal address. Keep in mind that these prices are in US dollars. I will cover the cost to get them here, but will expect payment before I let them go.

Yep, inner is km/h, outer is mph.

Both restricted and unrestricted are available and would need to be noted when ordering.

NOTE: For those that aren't aware, you can't change a restricted guage to an unrestricted guage. Only swap with the one you have oem.

Just noticed, the only other bitch would be that the clock and trip meter would glow orange. Hmm, hope it doesn't look too shitty, otherwise we might have to do the blue LED thing like Slong did.

I think I'm gonna go with....................standard indiglo. I noticed they do indiglo green for cars , maybe they do them for bikes as well. Blue is nice but green would match my indiglo NOS gauge....hehehehehe, let us know when you need da money

Hey guys/gals -

When you put the new gauges on, please post pics!

I'd seen those gauges in a magazine months ago, and knew I'd want them...I hadn't seen the reverse gauges though, so now I'm torn!

Peter - I know you said you were getting the reverse ones, so I'd love to see a pic when you get it...if it's not too much trouble (and you don't mind showing off )

Rod - you making fun of the American?! You guys don't use that term? Hey, don't make me start picking you guys apart!

And I was just thinking (yeah, I do that sometimes) that Peter might be wondering "why see a pic of the gauges when I've already posted pics of them?!"

I just want to see the entire display on the Busa, that's all...

This is me, bracing for being made fun of!

What the heck is vegemite anyway? Always heard it in a "Men At Work" song back in the 80's when I was young(er)...now I might actually find out?

Sorry, I know this isn't the right thread to ask such questions, but when opportunity knocks...
