I have come to the conclusion that it is my helmet that defines how people recognise me.
A little while ago, a truck driver mate started to wave at me and then quickly pulled his hand down to stop waving. When I saw him later he said he thought it was me but when he saw the helmet he thought it was someone else.
On Monday, I walked into Action Motorcycles in Canberra and who should also be in there ( no names). Her (black/purple) Hayabusa was parked outside. I walked in the door still with my helmet on just as she walked out and without a word she walked right past. When I called her to account she said " Oh, you've got a new helmet. I didn't recognise you"
I don't have my Picotti (joker) helmet anymore. Here is a pic of my new one so you'll all be able to recognise me (or ingnore me).
