Put on a fantastic memorial ride from Bairnsdale to PI
Have high profile celebrities on bikes to ensure media interest.
Have the cops lead the ride in a candy car and bring up the rear.
Have motorcycle cops overtaking the procession of bikes at warp speed so they can close the next intersection and allow the bikes uninterupted passage.
Have a cop ride alongside you at 140kph and give you a wave as he accelerates away.
Have a speed camera hidden along the way and send 98 motorcyclists fines for exceeding the speed limit.:">
Bloody hell!
It's a good way of ensuring people come back again next year isn't it?

So you thought it was an immunity run Chops ?
Mate they will stoop to anything if there's a buck in it, the joint's broke & needs Kennett back to sort it
PS: If your licence is a clean slate the past 3 years, write to them & plead for a discretionary waiver after showing obligatory contrition
Yeah i heard about this one too,f#*king scumbags.:"> I think if you can somehow all stick together ,you would beat this bum wrap. They are all ankles.....3 feet lower than a c#*e
Heard about it, Rod? I am one of the 98... 105 in 100... :">
and Rev, as you know, my slate aint clean enough to plead anything... except insanity because I still live in the land of Bracks...

Hmmmm I guess it was a bit much to ask for eh?
It's a pretty bloody low act though.
My sympathies Richard, I wasn't one of the 98. 105 in a 100. What a dastardly criminal you are. I think a better penalty would be to sentence you to a few years in Qld. although they are not adverse to the odd dirty trick up here either.
Imagine how many photos were useless to them with more than one bike in the frame.
This sorta thing really gets up my nose!!

Regretably, don't we all DeMeest Yeah Chops I hear you, not yet mate, but Noosa when I'm ready I hear bikers have reserved parking up there now outside the main drag coffee house
As a polly ol smoothy is naive in the extreme & doesn't understand or keep a weather eye on the big picture (survival). I hear the country jails are full of otherwise decent people who have been compelled by family financial pressures to continue driving to earn a living after losing licences under this draconian, nit picking, revenue raising scheme.
Another 100,000 Victorians are within a point or two of losing their licences as well, & no doubt many infringements would be in the category of the width of a speedo needle & or speedo error etc etc etc ad nauseum.
Nobody here would condone serial speeders but losing one's licence & perhaps one's livlihood for being a few K's over borders on being un Australian in the extreme & the antithesis of the hard won old Aussie notion of a "fair go" for all
In the meantime, let's be careful out there in Bracks land & keep the donations in our own pockets for life's basic necessities like Nickel plating, good tyres , Nitrous etc That's right GDYUP isn't it ?
Lardass you have mail.
Regards
CB
Right you are Rev. Better things to spend money on than poxy fines. (Glad I haven't been pinched lately!:"> )
I remember the shit I was in when I lost my licence. (Only 2 months and 11 days to get all my points back) Not that I'm counting. Might garage the bike for that time to guarantee a win. But as we know "Cars are Very Boring!"
Even V8 Porshe's eh Rev???
Ride safe and under the limit. If Rev and GDY can, we all can!!!
Cheers, Phil. Riding in the land of Bracks not talking.
Hey lardass, problem with that stealth plate - you have to activate it. If I knew the camera was there, I would not have been doing 105, would have made sure I was doing 95.
Radar jammers don't work on the cameras, and for the hand held police guns, most here are now laser, not radar.
We are pretty much still screwed...
Quite correct DeMeester, you do have to rememeber to activate assuming you have spotted the problem
But what if somebody on another bike in front of you told you of their observations via intercom before you came across any problems Not a complete answer, but better than nothing ? Saved my mate's arse going to PI
We are pretty much still screwed... speed cams still suck big time & so do the lasser guns (*_*) (I try not to speed)
(but the bussa is not happy going slow)Ride FAST or be last.
Well I will feel much safer on the road knowing that you nare-do-well speeding types are not on it. I am happier with the aged, infirm and drug affected who may not have the reflexes to avoid a long lunch but sit 20kph under the speed limit and don't get fined - now that is a safer world ..
The increased number of speeding fines being issued MUST mean there are more vehicles speeding on the road - why is the road toll going down at the same time?
