they look like theyd do a good job at protecting, looks a bit fugly and maybe just the one side no mention of a pair.

Its only for the stator cover they dont have one for the other side , i have that item and the fairing knobs . The item arrives unpolished and would look heaps better when shiny , i dont think it detracts from the looks at all and are a rather good fit. And would prove its worth in the case of a fall. especially if u havnt done the side stand mod yet.

I like stuff that actually has a function, - it's not always about looks.

So is there one available for the other side?

And how about ground clearence when leaning, (I often get my elbow down ...........er....when checking the oil level).

Can somebody please enlighten me re "the side stand mod". My Busa has only been on it's side twice. Both times courtesy of the side stand folding. I had a look in the Technical Thread but can't see anything there.

Thanks Grant ! That really is a great site for 'Busa mods. I have bookmarked it. The mod is as I expected, and allows the side stand to swing further forward, changing the locking angle. My engineering background tells me not to risk weakening the stand by cutting a groove in it, but I reckon I will be making it so.

Grants Billet side stands, my bike did the same thing and

has'nt gone over since I put it on
