I'm resisting...

About to fit Led indicators at the back.
Does anyone know what ohm resisters I use for each side so they blink at the normal rate...?? Cheers,
Pete

The equalisers look like a ballast resistor to me, older car fan controls and ignition coils used ballast resistors to cut voltage ,Made a lot of heat dissapating energy.

what a nice bunch of people...
Gotta admit the help I have been offered (since the prang) by people from this board i don't even know is nothing short of amazing.
Thanks Bill but I think I will get there....
I'll make some calls tomorrow to bike shops.

It's just that every man and his dog has these led indicators so i thought someone would know what resistor to put in em... Cheers,
Pete

You could do the "flasher mod"
with an electro-mechanical flasher and they will flash at the normal rate whether they are LED or incandescent

email me if you want a write-up on the mod

OhzOne... but then won't he need to change his blinker fluid from 'sparkling' to 'still' to avoid stuffing his kanooter valve ? Regards.... Rob (Astro)
