i have hayabusa 03 model ,,
i have changed the original facegauge which was with the speed of 280 KM to another one with the speed of 340KM ,,
and i fix the yellow box to correct the speedo meter ,, but now the odometer is not correct ,,,

Ahh the lure of that original speedo, those nice digits 340 and a further mark for 350. Thats the first thing admirers look at. wonder how many new bike sales Suzuki lose out because of it?

I don't understand why your odometer would be wrong?? Surely, just because you have had the restriction removed, it should still "count" your kms accurately?
I would have thought the only time you may introduce problems with the odometer is if you change your sprockets or gearing... (where does the odometer make it's readings from??) <i></i>

maybe contact the 'yellow box' people for advice..... <i></i>
When using the yellow box............you must set the correction factor into it to calibrate the speedo, may take several attempts to get it right............unless you know the correction factor straight up. <i></i>
Correct factor or not, it seems odd that the yellow box would have any impact on your odometer.
i.e. unless you are using the yellow box to correct for a sprocket change (I presum this is necessary?). In which case, the odometer and speedo would both need recalibration. <i></i>
when someone works out how to chuck on a 350km/h guage on a restricted model and fix up the little problems associated, let me know

I wan't to get the white faced guages but they're only available in the unrestricted version so far, and I want a guage that reads 350!!!!
Why is it that the first thing any non-rider does when he looks at a bike is glance at the last digit on the speedo?????? <i></i>
It always amuses me....people walk around it, look at the back tyre, then work their way up to the speedo & start pointing.
I park my bike right outside my window at work (like about six feet away). I can see out through the mirrored glass but people cant see in. Today a Harley rider parked next to the Bus, had a quick look around to make sure nobody was watching & looked the Busa over in detail. He did a double take when he saw the 340 speedo then had to look at it from three different angles to be sure. I sort of felt like going out & encouraging him to feel the power of the dark side.....but I suppose it doesnt have leather bags or tassles.
