anyone had any running hot problems with the bus, Its not the fan..... as it sits just under half way temp all of the time, including on the freeway. I havent opened it up to have a look yet as usual and am guessing thats its the thermastat. so i was looking for someone that had the same problem <i></i>

Mine gets hot in traffic pretty quickly. I'm about to change the fan for an aluminium one. Check it, I bet it's melting. Also consider fitting a second fan, you can put it on a manual switch if you prefer, ( I may look at this option if the ali fan doesn't help much). The 1000's fan is smaller and apparently a good fit. <i></i>
Throwdown is right, if it is getting hot in traffic only, your fan blades could be distorted especially if you have a 4 into 1 exhaust & assuming everything else is OK <i></i>
If it was just doing it in traffic i would swap out the fan ASAP, but its sitting just below half on the freeway aswell, when the fan is off.

Mine & most others sit just below half all the time as well, this is the normal range for traffic/freeway, what makes you think you have a problem Jess? Has it ever gone full scale hot ? <i></i>
Yes, re-reading the original post, you seem to be saying that you think it is running hot at under half - mine likewise sits there. <i></i>
my bike always used to sit just under a quarter temp.
