Byk-ini Shades
#1
Alrighty, for the more observant riders at Jindy, you may have noticed a pretty cool cover on my Busa. It was a Byk-ini (cool name too) cover hand made right here in Australia by Jenny and Bandit (Rob). I knew that Jenny was working on it and stopped on the way up at Wodonga to get the good oil and one of my very own. Perfect for what I wanted, a cool seat and dust free (and bird poo free) Busa when I come out after work. The fit is wonderful and does accomodate all your screen selections and other mods with all it's well placed soft fitting hooks. Jenny has really kicked a goal with this one.

If you would like one of your very own, contact Jenny or Rob at bykinishades@bigpond.com.

The prices are:

Small: 40"x20" - $60
Medium: 60"x30" - $80
Large: 85"x50" - $120.

BTW: I apoligise to the poor buggers that I dragged out in the rain to pitch a 'sun-shade'.

Ditto on everything Glen said. I got one off Jenny as well and it is money well spent IMHO.
Before anyone says anything, I know the frankenbus doesn't exactly deserve getting covered but it is getting painted soon and this cover folds away into a small bag attached to it and fits under the hump. It also fits my other bikes (GSX400, 82 katana etc).

I like it, and its perfect for what I need at the track to keep the bike shaded in between runs.

Is the large for the Busa?
My tail section is 6 inch over, so I might have to have something a little longer.

Hey Glen I saw it & thought it could have been a bit
bigger to get more paint protection to the front of the bike
for guys who leave them in the sun all day.

What about a water proof version for guys that have
sheepskin seat covers?

the ones that Glen and I have are only the medium so you can still get a larger version if you want. best bet is to call Jenny or Rob (bandit) and ask them directly.

I just have one, I'm no authority or even the product owner. That's Jenny, like Maggot said, contacting her is the best way to go. I'm sure she can accomodate your needs. I reckon it is a great product, that's why I jumped aboard, plus we are mates.

Thanks for the post Glen,

We are making small, medium and large as said by Glen.

For those on the forum that want a shade to cover all the paint work or for the longer bikes i can modify a large shade free of charge.

Also, for those asking about a water proof shade, i am going to look at making a water proof shade later on. The shades we are currently making can be sprayed with scotchguard to make them shower proof.

um, yeah that's the attitude we need in here to encourage vendors to promote their wares. If you don't like, you don't buy...the market will sort itself out.

Can someone explain why a G string is wrong on a fat chick ?

And should this thread be banished to the "Testicle Section" ?
