Just be careful riding day to day with the straps on fellas.

I had mine on, though not tight, and, apparently, they were "inhibiting teh steering" and part of them wore away maiking the strap unsafe to use...

...so please check them thoroughly each time before you tighten them up at the drags.

Riding with straps on the street is an accident waiting to happen, if the straps loose the buckle can restrict handle bar moovment without warning , and tight can give slappa type probs
