Maj obviously knows the rest are not even close.

This bike is home made uses a readily available motor with custom made gearbox and and runs mid 8's.

Give you a hint it isnt a bike motor and is supercharged at up to 28 pounds boost Bruce

Yup!
Can't recall the builder, it was a well known guy in SA. It also sports a supercharger and probably the best part, a completely home built case for the two speed powerglide tranny. Story goes it never ran really well, got bought and sol a couple of times and now recently bought and getting sorted by a local. Carries a big slug of steel low down on the side (it's in the photo to balance it out as it never ran too straight.
Check results on Quit site for the 18th and you'll see how it ran in /MB. Best run a 8.961 (4th qual on the day). Lost in second eliminations.
