Thanks for blowing the surprise.Anyway the mount for the can allows for a rear footpeg albeit a little higher. The pipework allows for lower rearsets than stock if you choose. The kit comes complete with high mount blinkers if required as well.I just trial fitted the system in the photo. The headers are off for ceramic coating and the pc3usb just turned up so its still a couple of weeks away from being up and running.I,d like bear(WA) to post any dyno results before i do so you can see independant results.I think his is a low mount which tend to make a little more power i,m told, time will tell.I,ll post a photo of the ceramic finish when i get them. The photo is a bit of a scoop,I wasn,t going to post until i was finished. The guard does look shithouse, this will all change in time.I,m hoping to have it fitted this weekend and mapped by next week. Can,t wait to hear it.Can someone ride it and tell me what it goes like on the road? Its gonna feel real fast after 6 months off it.

Here's mine. There seems to be a few differences. Mine has individual headers, then two 2 into 1 pipes, then a 2 into 1 collector, then the muffler. You can't see all the bits in the photos as I didn't think of taking photos out of the box.
Hoping to book a dyno run soon.

Mines dynoed today. On initial run the mixture was 14-15/1 air fuel. From factory rich its certainly scavenging a fair bit more air.Makes sure you add a k&n or similar to maximise the gains not just for top end but for snap on response as well.It needed more fuel just about everywhere.Interestingly at the standard fuel pressure the injector duty cycle was up to 92%.I didn,t bother with a pre exhaust power run and will leave bear to do that.Settled on about 13.5:1 air fuel ratio.I will go to the drags and a ride day to form an opinion on its real world performance.its definately quieter than the staintunes at part throttle and carries more of note with less resonance whilst adding throttle.Overall so far it doesn,t sound as gutsy and growly as dads muzzy with carbon can(we had a rev off to find out ) more gsxr1000 in its sound.I will weigh the bike full of fuel again next time a go to the drags.PSST.It made very similar power to a stock zx14.

hi spaman , it sounds like your bike is a bit rich ? duty cycle is not altered by the fuel pressure reg . nothing wrong with 92% you still have 8% to play with ? if it was turbo'd i would probly be a bit concerned . I specialise in fuel injection up here in QLD spaman , if you need any advice just ask . cheers MR-X

It was lean before the pc was fitted as far as i know it certainly felt like it was starving. It was very lean around 1800-2200 dead cold and this was sorted out as it was back firing upon throttle application at fast idle speed before the pc was fitted. In relation to the fuel pressure what i meant was that i know some guys bump up the fuel pressure to get more flow out of the stock injectors, hence stock injectors, stock pressure and 92% gives you an idea on the amount of fuel it needs. Now those that know the hp potential of the stock injectors X 92%X92.5%(guessing drive losses at 7.5%)=***hp at the tyre.No one believes me anyway so I,ll let Bear talk numbers.I,ll just go the drags and see If i got my money,s worth, and the track as well to test if this accelerator pump option helps with throttle takeup snatchiness. 13.5 at idle is to rich spaman ,but a full power run at that % will cause damage ,because its to lean 12.5 would be a lot better . perfect in fact .cheers

Went to the drags tonight. What a disaster.Only did 2 runs, both time it spun instantly then bogged. So i went down the back of the carpark to learn how to do a burnout without an audience.Got kicked out.The pirelli supercorsa had NO cold grip after the dyno run, must have turned it to jelly.Still hit 140mph though so hp must have improved. It ran 169.7hp on sydney dynos dynojet.I was a little dissapointed not to crack into the 170,s.I haven,t done the valve lash yet and i,d like to give it a good going over to check cam timing, compression, lash etc.I,ve heard higher numbers but every dyno is different i suppose.Dads bike made another 10hp when it went over 40,000k,s so who knows. At least next time i drag I,ll be doing a decent burnout.I weighed it with a bit over half a tank of fuel tonight at 235kg with the new exhaust on it.It was 253kg before so i reckon its about 242-4kg now full to the brim.
